機械規則 (EU) 2023/1230 第4章 適合性評価
「第４章 適合性評価」では、適合性評価の「手順の枠組み」、つまりモジュールの選択について規定されています。
ノーティファイドボディの関与が必須かどうかを含め、どのような「手順の枠組み（モジュール）」を選択するか、メーカー自身で条文を注意深く読んで決定しなければなりません。
評価方法（試験など）が記述されているのではありません。「手順の枠組み（モジュール）」とは、モジュールA（内部生産管理、ノーティファイドボディは関与しない）あるいはモジュールB～H（それぞれノーティファイドボディが関与する業務）です。製品の条件分類によって指定され、あるいは指令された中から任意にモジュールが選択されます。
附属書I パートBに分類される製品についての、モジュールAの適用については、「”関連する”すべての必須要求事項」、「（それらを）網羅する整合規格（”複数形”）」であることに注意して解釈してください。

Article 25: Conformity assessment procedures for machinery and related products
第25条 機械及び関連製品の適合性評価手順
- The manufacturer or the natural or legal person referred to in Article 18 shall apply one of the conformity assessment procedures referred to in paragraphs 2, 3 and 4.
- Where the category of machinery or related product is listed in Annex I, Part A, the manufacturer or the natural or legal person referred to in Article 18 shall apply one of the following procedures:
- Where the category of machinery or related product is listed in Annex I, Part B, the manufacturer or the natural or legal person referred to in Article 18 shall apply one of the following procedures:
- Where the category of machinery or related product is not listed in Annex I, the manufacturer, including a natural or legal person referred to in Article 18, shall apply the internal production control procedure (module A) set out in Annex VI.
- Notified bodies shall take into account the specific interests and needs of small and medium sized enterprises when setting the fees for conformity assessment.
製造業者または第18条に規定する自然人もしくは法人は、第2項、第3項または第4項に規定する適合性評価手順のいずれかを適用しなければならない。
機械又は関連製品のカテゴリーが附属書IパートAに記載されている場合、製造業者または第18条に規定する自然人もしくは法人は、以下のいずれかの手順を適用しなければならない。
(a)EU type-examination (module B) set out in Annex VII, followed by conformity to type based on internal production control (module C) set out in Annex VIII;
(a)附属書VIIに規定するEU型式審査（モジュールB）に続き、附属書VIIIに規定する内部生産管理に基づく型式適合性評価（モジュールC）
(b)conformity based on full quality assurance (module H) set out in Annex IX;
(b)附属書IXに規定する完全品質保証に基づく適合性評価（モジュールH）
(c)conformity based on unit verification (module G) set out in Annex X.
(c)附属書Xに定めるユニット検証（モジュールG）に基づく適合性評価
機械類または関連製品のカテゴリーが附属書IパートBに記載されている場合、製造業者または第18条に規定する自然人もしくは法人は、以下のいずれかの手続きを実施しなければならない。
(a)internal production control (module A) set out in Annex VI;
(a)附属書VIに定める内部生産管理（モジュールA）
(b)EU type-examination (module B) set out in Annex VII, followed by conformity to type based on internal production control (module C) set out in Annex VIII;
(b)附属書VIIに定めるEU型式検査（モジュールB）に続き、附属書VIIIに定める内部生産管理（モジュールC）に基づく型式適合性評価
(c)conformity based on full quality assurance (module H) set out in Annex IX;
(c)附属書IXに定める完全品質保証（モジュールH）に基づく適合性評価
(d)conformity based on unit verification (module G) set out in Annex X.
(d)附属書Xに定めるユニット検証（モジュールG）に基づく適合性評価
If a manufacturer applies the internal production control procedure referred to in point (a), it shall design and construct the machinery or related product in accordance with the harmonised standards or common specifications specific to that category of machinery or related product covering all the relevant essential health and safety requirements.
製造業者が（a）項に規定する内部生産管理手順を適用する場合、当該製造業者は、当該機械または関連製品に特有の、関連する必須の健康および安全要件をすべて網羅する整合規格または共通仕様に従って、機械または関連製品を設計および製造しなければならない。
Where the category of machinery or related product is listed in Annex I, Part B, and the machinery or related product was not designed and constructed in accordance with the harmonised standards or common specifications specific to that category of machinery or related product covering all the relevant essential health and safety requirements for that category of machinery or related product, the manufacturer, including a natural or legal person referred to in Article 18, shall apply one of the procedures referred to in points (b), (c) or (d) of this paragraph.
機械または関連製品のカテゴリーが附属書IパートBに記載されている場合であって、当該機械または関連製品が、当該機械または関連製品に特有の、関連するすべての必須の健康および安全要件を網羅する整合規格または共通仕様に従って設計および製造されていない場合、製造業者（第18条に規定する自然人または法人を含む）は、本項の（b）、（c）または（d）項に規定する手順のいずれかを適用しなければならない。
機械類または関連製品のカテゴリーが附属書Iに記載されていない場合、第18条に規定する自然人または法人を含む製造業者は、附属書VIに定める内部生産管理手順（モジュールA）を適用しなければならない。
ノーティファイドボディは、適合性評価の手数料を設定する際に、中小企業の特別な利益およびニーズを考慮しなければならない。
